The Digital Solutions Cooperative (Dscoop) is a dynamic and user-driven community of HP Indigo owners and their sales, marketing and production teams. Dscoop Asia-Pacific recently announced their expansion into Asia Pacific to cater to the needs of the 700+ members who are based here. Dscoop is an independent global community of graphic arts business owners and technical professionals who use Hewlett Packard equipment and related solutions, including Indigo and Scitex.

Dscoop Asia-Pacific is set to offer industry members in the region the opportunity to empower their companies to capture new business opportunities and open new market channels.

The Dscoop conference has successfully been held in the US on five occasions and will hold its first ever Dscoop conference for Asia Pacific in Korea from 7th to 8th September 2010 at the Grand Hilton Hotel Seoul. The conference will be held in conjunction with the 17th Korea International Printing Machinery & Equipment Show (KIPES). The Dscoop conference will host more than 30 speakers from leading companies around the world including Consolidated Graphics Inc., Shutterfly Inc., Shanghai Printing Group Co. Ltd, Mirae N Culture Group, SNAPS Corp. and more. Dscoop is expecting more than 700 participants from more than 10 countries to attend.

Additionally, Dscoop aims to maximise the value of its alliances in the region for industry members to tap into expert insights and digital printing solutions developed by some of the world’s leading press companies. One of the key aims of Dscoop is to provide opportunities for members to share experiences and discuss the latest innovations, trends and technical expertise with peers and partners to spur continual growth in digital printing.

In support of the importance Dscoop places on the region, a Dscoop Asia-Pacific Steering Committee has been formed. The committee is made up of key leaders of the printing industry and aims to develop strong line-ups of insightful educational activities that cover a wide variety of topics, such as new market trends and challenges, winning business strategies, building brands and future platforms.

Larry Vaughn, Dscoop chairman of the board explained, “The formation of this steering committee signals our strong commitment to the Asia-Pacific region. We want to ensure that any Dscoop programs that we provide are relevant and valuable to our diverse audience. I thank all members of the steering committee for graciously volunteering their time and expertise to set the direction and evolution of Dscoop in Asia Pacific.”
