Employees of the Hettich Group have been volunteering their free time to support a broad range of socially relevant projects, with funding provided by the organisation.
Hettich provided funds for several social outreach programmes worldwide in 2016, with total sponsorship adding up to € 76,500. All these projects receive voluntary support from members of staff at Hettich.
In 2016, all staff members from Hettich's German operations came forward with projects they were involved in as volunteers. In all, Hettich sponsored 153 projects including 111 in Germany and 42 abroad with each project receiving funding worth € 500.
For the past four years, Hettich has been sponsoring projects supported by their employees as a way of promoting voluntary work in the long term. Since 2013, 485 projects worldwide have received support totalling € 317,500 from Hettich.
