Henderson RMD has released the Weatherfold external folding door hardware system that enables from two to eight timber and glass doors to be installed in either multiple leaf or folding configurations.
Designed in Australia, the system includes matching hinges, pivot sets, hangers, guides, flush bolts, track and channel and seals which enable a folding door system. Fitted to a generic door configuration, it has been independently tested to comply with the Australian Standard AS 2047 which covers water penetration, air infiltration and ultimate strength. Weatherfold systems are available for both aluminium and timber doors.
Quality of manufacture of the individual components is guaranteed including mortice and non-mortice hinge choices, a choice of either 35 or 45 kg door weight capacity with all stainless steel options for coastal areas where corrosion is a concern. The system includes a choice of surface finishes including satin chrome, polished brass, polished chrome and satin anodised aluminium. It has been designed to accommodate door leaf sizes of 3m high up to 900mm wide and weighing up to 45kg each.
