Sydney-based builder King Homes NSW chose the PowerProfile system from the Hebel Designer Range for the facade of their new residential project. A young, vibrant company committed to creating beautifully crafted, high quality homes with a modern design edge, King Homes found the new Hebel Designer Range a perfect fit for their recent Spice Home project.

Located on a 450sqm block of land in the outer suburbs of Sydney, the Spice Home project features the new Hebel Designer Range product, PowerProfile on the facade. Reputed for their focus on architectural design, eye for detail and impressive workmanship, King Homes was able to take the look and feel of their new homes to the next level with the Hebel system.

“We wanted a modern, crisp feel to the home and we knew using Hebel with acrylic render would provide the finish we were after. Initially, we were thinking of pairing it with a lightweight cladding material painted in Monument to provide contrast. But once we discovered the Hebel Designer Range, we chose to use the PowerProfile,” said Veronica King from King Homes.

Providing a contemporary option for facades, the Hebel PowerProfile system replicates the look of traditional metal standing seam. However, compared to metal, Hebel is a more solid and durable standing seam option. Manufactured in Australia, these panels provide superior design flexibility for the external façade to suit every homeowner's style.

“Hebel PowerProfile added striking interest to the front of the home painted in Monument, which really appealed to a large group of buyers. As a builder, we love working with this product for its high quality finish and straightforward installation,” said King Homes director, Mark King.

So impressed were the Kings with the Hebel range that they used it to create a distinctively eye-catching designer facade on their own home.

“Apart from the aesthetic qualities, thermal efficiency was very important to us in our own home,” said Veronica. “We had already invested in solar panels and double-glazed windows, so Hebel was the obvious choice for the main building material as we knew its renowned thermal properties would reduce the environmental impact and save on our energy bills. Hebel also made our build much more efficient and saved on our build costs by reducing waste on site.”

“The striking façade of our home reflects our design ethos, and experiencing all the benefits of using Hebel first-hand makes us confident and proud to offer it as the material of choice in building new homes for King Homes,” Mark King concluded.
