Pallido Chevron, an engineered oak wood flooring product from Havwoods, was selected to provide a high quality finish to the redesigned hospitality lounge at the well-known Pride Park Stadium in Derbyshire, United Kingdom.

For the redesign of their ‘Captain’s Club’ hospitality lounge at the stadium in 2019, Derby County Football Club sought an environment that reflected the high standard of their football ability. The lounge, which provided the best vantage points in the stadium, hosted both stakeholders as well as fans for a VIP match-day experience. For the designers at Fisch Design Ltd, this meant only the finest products were specified for the refurbishment of the lounge.

The Pallido Chevron engineered oak wood flooring was chosen from the Havwoods Italian Collection as it provided the ideal finishing touch for this prestigious space. The flooring combines a classic luxury feel that perfectly aligns with the overall contemporary style encapsulating the hospitality lounge.

The beautiful Pallido Chevron engineered timber flooring boards, which take inspiration from the intricate flooring often found in the Mediterranean region, look stunning in the lounge environment. The flooring is also extremely practical, given the high foot traffic in the space. The wear layer of prime grade European oak accounts for a third of the overall depth, creating a hardwearing and consistent surface that can withstand heavy use.
