Engineered timber floorboards from The Italian Collection by Havwoods were selected for the refurbishment project at The Boutique Workplace Company building in London.

Home to The Boutique Workplace Company, 35 Soho Square is a stunning period building with several rooms featuring high ceilings, floor-length windows and period features such as grand fireplaces.

Designed by Create Interior Design, the refurbishment saw the relocation of the reception area to the front of the building so as to make a statement and give visitors a fantastic first impression. The design brief sought to create a neutral background with engineered timber floorboards from Havwoods.

The Italian Collection's Bronzo Herringbone was selected as the perfect option to showcase the beautiful furniture in all its grandeur, while also accentuating the lighting, artwork and one-of-a-kind joinery pieces.

Following the refurbishment, the space offers a striking and contemporary reception area with eye-catching furniture pieces and neon lighting, and the dramatic patterned wood flooring from Havwoods completing the look.

Additionally, the wood flooring allowed the designer to play with the scale of the traditional square pattern parquet; the Italian Collection boards were the ideal product to achieve this look, and the rich tones of the Bronzo Herringbone blocks laid in a basket weave pattern worked perfectly within the design.
