State-of-the-art fixtures and fittings from GWA Group were installed during the major refurbishment of Accor Vacation Club’s Grand Mercure in Flinders Lane, Melbourne.
Coinciding with the Grand Mercure’s 90th birthday this year, the $4.3 million refurbishment featured a comprehensive range of fixtures from GWA Bathrooms & Kitchens. The project aimed to return the property back to its glory days.
GWA Bathrooms and Kitchens supplied a full schedule of fittings including kitchen tapware and sinks, bathroom basins, tapware, showers, baths, toilet suites and various bathroom accessories for the development. GWA fixtures were selected for their style as well as water and energy efficiency.
Darin Nielson, Senior Property Manager, Accor Vacation Club explained that the GWA products suited their designer's brief of stylish and ultra-upmarket while also being functional, environment-friendly, efficient and user-friendly. Additionally, the fixtures had to look in sync with the heritage architecture of the building.
Caroma Metro Wall Faced Toilet Suites
The Caroma Metro toilet suite combines contemporary design and practicality with features such as stylish flush-fitting installation, low profile chrome plated buttons and an ultra-quiet, fast-filling cistern. The toilet includes Caroma’s Smartflush water saving technology and achieves a 4-star WELS rating.
Caroma Liano 430 Under Counter Basins
Featuring a minimalist architectural styling, Caroma under counter basins display a modern look with a geometric bowl and gently curved depth.
Dorf Jovian Rail Showers
The new Dorf Jovian rail showers incorporate sharp, intense lines and smooth edges for a distinctively European look. The highly functional shower reduces water use without compromising on performance and has a 3-star WELS rating for water efficiency. The rail showers are matched with the Dorf Jovian basins, mixers and bathroom accessories for an integrated look.
Dorf Jovian Sink Mixers
The Dorf Jovian sink mixer is paired with the Clark Razor sink in the kitchen. Square with a distinctive design, clean edges and deep bowls, the Razor polished stainless steel sinks also feature sound absorption pads for a noticeably quieter sink.
