Case Study: Eco chic is the theme in ‘pink kitchen' design at Tullabudgera Valley home

    Gunnersen

A broad range of products from Gunnersen was specified for the kitchen at a private residence in Tullabudgera Valley, Queensland. Designed by Greenovations and Adams Designer Kitchens, the kitchen combines a striking visual appearance with functional features, all brought to life with Gunnersen’s HI-MACS and element products.

Meeting the brief of a ‘beautiful and practical kitchen’, the ‘Pink Kitchen’ has exceeded all expectations with the setting changing between day and night at the flick of a switch. The ‘sparkles’ in the Perna White HI-MACS Solid Surface benchtops and splashbacks reflect the blue and pink lights set under the benchtop as well as the overhead cabinets to deliver an ethereal effect.

Designer Liz, who lives by the motto, “It doesn’t have to look green to be green”, specified products with environmental ticks for the kitchen. All of the products she selected were recommended by EcoSpecifier.

Gunnersen’s HI-MACS Perna White was used for the benchtops and splashbacks; element Fusion on cupboards; element White Diamonds for the cupboards on the island bench; and Nevamar Laminate in Brushed Aluminium for the kickboards.

The eco chic ‘Pink Kitchen’ was a finalist in the KBDI design awards and is also entered into the HIA awards.
