Gunnersen Inspirations is now the Australian distributor for the Nevamar range of high pressure laminates, which come in two different finishes - Armored Protection Surface and Pure Metals.

The former keeps the laminate surface looking new longer and provides a solution for customers seeking scuff-resistant high pressure laminates - providing more than double the protection of standard laminates. A thin deposit of microscopic aluminium oxide particles acts as a protective layer on the laminate surface, allowing objects to slide across the laminate, skimming the surface instead of scuffing the design.

“The unique ARP process diminishes gloss change, which is often the first sign of wear in worktops, tables and counter surfaces,” says Andrea Lees, marketing manager for Gunnersen Inspirations. “ARP also offers better resistance to scuffing during fabrication and installation, which is of particular value to manufacturers.”

The Pure Metals collection comprises seven striking metallic classics, available in brass, copper, chrome and stainless steel, in brushed and polished finishes. This range uses actual sheets of metal that may be shaped to a 90-degree angle, eliminating the black line of standard high-pressure laminates.
