Weldlok Industries, a division of the Graham Group , has been manufacturing Forgebar grating for over 20 years.

Quality Assurance Standards
Weldlok Industries is implementing a system that insures all products and manufacturing processes are in accordance with quality assurance program ISO 9001.

Construction
Weldlok Forgebar grating is constructed of load bearing bars in various depths and thicknesses with lateral restraint provided by 6mm square twisted cross bars forge welded to the upper edges of the load bearing bars.

This process produces a product of one piece construction with a high strength to weight ratio which meets the requirements of Australian Standard 1657-1992 and British Standard 4592-1970.

Material
The load bearing bars in Weldlok Forgebar grating are manufactured from steel that complies with the following equivalent standards: AS 1594-H250, AS 3679-300.

Finishes
Weldlok gratings are available in a choice of three finishes:

  • Hot dipped galvanised
  • Black bitumen dipped - An economical paint finish which is suited to indoor installations, or mining applications in a dry climate.
  • Untreated - Normally supplied on stock mats or panels to customers who wish to perform their own fabrication on grating.

Availability
Weldlok Industries stock the most commonly used types of gratings in standard mat sizes.

For fabricated panels, delivery time will be confirmed at the time of order. Having its in-house galvanising plant in Sydney enables Weldlok Industries to offer shorter lead times when this service is required.

Non standard products
Over the past years Weldlok Industries has made thousands of tonnes of special purpose gratings designed to suit unique loading and applications.
