Classic Twill, a skinny carpet plank range from Godfrey Hirst Australia was selected for the renovated areas of St. John of God Mt Lawley Hospital in Western Australia.

Having undergone repair works to their lower ground level, the Mt Lawley hospital needed a hardwearing flooring product that would not only conceal and resist soiling but also complement the existing interiors with a fresh approach.

Carpet planks from Godfrey Hirst’s Classic Twill range in the colour Traditional were recommended for the application in this busy healthcare environment. Chosen for its timeless nature as well as hardwearing properties, Classic Twill was installed in a herringbone pattern to give the space a contemporary vibe.

A nod to informal outerwear designed to withstand harsh rural climates, this simple and classic adaption of twill remains a time-honoured, iconic and signature style suited to any environment. The prominent flecked pattern and mottled effect combine with texture to add depth and richness to the range. Classic Twill is the ideal choice to prevent marks and spills from becoming visible.

Installed in the corridors of level one of the hospital, Classic Twill is able to withstand the high foot traffic common in these areas. Classic Twill has a Contract Extra Heavy Duty & Stairs rating, making it the perfect hardwearing product that looks great for years
