A custom designed carpet from Godfrey Hirst was installed on the floor of the Connections House at the Brisbane Racing Club to create a truly unique and memorable flooring finish.
The Brisbane Racing Club (BRC) is the leading metropolitan racing club in Queensland, conducting 98 race meetings and hosting over 300,000 patrons each year. The club’s racing calendar includes the summer and winter carnivals that attract wide interest from the public, media and the industry.
Connections House is an exclusive space at the BRC, used to host the club’s winning connections and all race day owners, and where winners can relax and celebrate in style and comfort.
For the newly renovated lounge, Godfrey Hirst collaborated with the club to create a stunning custom Designer Jet carpet design, which incorporated – in true racing club style – the BRC logo and the famous Stradbroke Cup. The brief sought a custom look that introduced an upmarket vibe to reflect success.
With the fitout needing to be completed before a major event, Godfrey Hirst worked against a very strict timeline, using their Designer Jet technology to produce the custom carpet for Connections House.
