The use of Geberit Pluvia siphonic roof drainage at the Perth Arena and Entertainment Centre allowed the construction of a retractable roof on the building.
The highly versatile Geberit Pluvia siphonic roof drainage system afforded the builders, BCG Construction the required design flexibility to construct a retractable roof instead of a closed roof that was initially planned for the venue.
The retractable roof has increased the value of the development as the Perth Arena is now an all-weather venue that can host sporting events throughout the year, offering spectators an outdoor experience in fine weather and a sheltered space during inclement weather. It can also provide an enclosed sonic environment for rock concerts.
