Furphy Foundry was recently commissioned by Whitehorse City Council to
produce a new urban seating solution based on the Council’s designs.
Manufactured using Modwood within a modern galvanised steel frame, the
new seat will be installed throughout an array of new projects and streetscapes
in the Whitehorse City Council municipality.
The seat is an example of Furphy Foundry’s capabilities to transform
design concepts into real products. The materials used to produce the seat were
selected to specifically suit the local environment.
