Fujitsu General (Aust.) Pty Limited held its 17th national conference last month in Port Douglas.

Hosted by Mr Toru Ishizuka and Philip Perham, the Fujitsu General national conference was attended by 70 delegates who were inspired by the business’ willingness to innovate, and motivated to continue the Fujitsu revolution, with its focus on maintaining and growing its retail share and firmly cementing its position in the commercial sector.

Observing that the business has changed a lot over the last few years, Philip Perham, deputy managing director said it’s the people and the brand that set Fujitsu apart. Given the business’ focus on building its presence in the commercial sector, Fujitsu has brought people in with the right expertise to drive the brand forward.

The national conference concluded with a unique under-the-stars dinner at Flames in the Forest, where business development success was rewarded.

Winners included Business Development Manager of the year (Retail) - Glenn Fear (South Australia); Business Development Manager of the year (Dealer) - Mark Taylor (Queensland); and Business Development Manager of the year (Commercial) - David Wu (Victoria).

National service manager, Trevor Cook received the Company Distinction Award, while the 2014 Bill Gillett State Manager of the Year memorial award was won by David Foley (Victoria), very closely followed by Ronnie Hinch (Queensland).
