Flowfresh antimicrobial polyurethane flooring from Flowcrete has been selected as one of the top 50 finalists in the 2016 edition of Tomorrow’s Contract Floors and Tomorrow’s Health & Safety awards.

The antimicrobial enhanced, polyurethane flooring range has been nominated thanks to its ability to create ultra-hygienic and highly reliable surfaces within some of the most challenging industrial environments. Award finalists were selected based on the merits, innovativeness or proven durability of the product and by analysing the nominee’s inventiveness, ease of installation, safety, style and sustainability credentials.

Flowfresh’s nomination in both of the awards proves the flooring product’s ability to meet high performance requirements in large scale, contamination-sensitive industrial businesses.

The Flowfresh formulation ensures a floor that can maintain a clean surface despite challenging working conditions. Key attributes of the industrial flooring range include a seamless, impervious and highly durable finish that can incorporate coving, colours and stainless steel drainage; and antibacterial agent Polygiene homogenously distributed throughout the polyurethane material, helping eliminate up to 99.9% of bacteria in contact with the floor.

It has been a good year for Flowfresh with the flooring range achieving HACCP International certification. This accreditation means that food and beverage brands operating an HACCP Food Safety Management Program can specify Flowfresh, safe in the knowledge that it will meet the stringent hygiene standards of floors in such locations.
