Fisher & Paykel Appliances has launched a new website specifically created to assist and inspire the design and architectural community.
The Kitchen Tools website (thekitchentools.fisherpaykel.com) enables the user to easily navigate to complete information about Fisher & Paykel products including drawings and CAD downloads. The new website was conceptualised by Fisher & Paykel based on an extensive industry-focused research initiative with a view to assist architects and designers by providing accurate and up-to-date information about products.
Designed entirely around an architect’s way of working, Fisher & Paykel’s Kitchen Tools site is quick and easy to access with no obstacles such as registrations or logins, while highly functional design tools, CAD files and data sheets ensure simple and straightforward interaction.
Drawings clearly dimension all key visual elements, door openings, breaklines, installation clearances and physical appliances. New case studies showcase design-led kitchens around the world with different approaches to layouts, material palettes and appliance detailing. The case studies show specific installations that illustrate different approaches to the placement of appliances within cabinetry, in suspended, stacked and under bench arrangements, and with a variety of material thicknesses and finishes.
The Kitchen Tools is a resource-rich website featuring a full slideshow of photographs of kitchens, along with context and details including a thorough article following the entire design process from concept to installation, complete with plans, elevations and CAD downloads in ArchiCAD, AutoCAD, revit and sketchUP formats. PDF data sheets showing key measurements and detailing important elements on the product are also included.
The editorial style Case Studies section profiles a select range of kitchen projects from world-leading designers. Designers are also invited to submit their own projects that have utilised Fisher & Paykel kitchen appliances to help grow this pool of exceptional case studies.
The Kitchen Tools site also features a visual feed of design and industry-focused images and content, adding a third element to the website.
