Vitracore G2 from Fairview was the preferred compliant cladding product chosen to replace the damaged facade panels on the Lacrosse building in Docklands, Melbourne. The apartment building was damaged in 2014 when one of its two towers was engulfed in flames causing over $5 million in damage.

To replace the damaged facade panels on the Lacrosse Docklands building, an extensive screening process was initiated involving the Melbourne City Council, the Victorian Building Authority, the Metropolitan Fire Brigade, independent fire engineers, building surveyors, and the strata community management. Following deliberations, Vitracore G2 was selected as the preferred compliant cladding product.

Vitracore G2 facade panels were installed on the building to replace the damaged facade panels and the 20-storey apartment tower has now been returned to its former glory.
