Two products from Fairview were specified for the façade of a new development perched neatly on top of Doncaster Hill, adding the perfect finishing touch to the stylish apartment building.

Developed by K2LD Architects in partnership with Crema Constructions, the flawlessly finished Nest at the Hill building boasts a strong structural presence, highlighted by the Vitracade terracotta tile system on the façade.

Designed as a mid-rise building with 250 living spaces spread over 12 floors, Nest at the Hill offers its residents sweeping views of Melbourne CDB and the Dandenong Ranges.

Vitracade features a simple fixing system, and is an optimal choice for elegant design, while also providing warmth and a barrier against outside noise. About 1000 square metres of Vitracade terracotta tile system in ‘Salmon’, combined with 300 square metres of Vitracore G2 non-combustible cladding panels were installed by Collmill for the Nest at the Hill development.

The two façade solutions from Fairview add a nice finishing touch to the exterior of the building, providing a stylish look that will last for decades to come. Vitracade is manufactured from natural clay and then fired in a kiln at over 1000°C, resulting in an entirely non-combustible tile that is tested and proven to AS1530.1. Similarly, Vitracore is Fairview’s leading deemed to satisfy non-combustible cladding panel, tested to AS1530.1.
