Sixty-eight pre-planted VGM greenwall modules from Elmich Australia were supplied for an inner city pool and landscaping project in Victoria.
Following consultation with the designers and contractors on the project, Elmich’s agent in Victoria, Ken Hitchcock Designs supplied the 68 pre-planted VGM greenwall modules. Each module was pre-planted in a nursery to allow proper establishment before installation.
Columns of VGM modules, each supporting up to 16 plants, were installed on proprietary pilasters, in-between decorative illuminated screens.
The project team comprised of Architect Jackson, Clements & Burrows; Landscape Architect Jack Merlo Design; Landscape Contractor Kiama Landscapes; and Pool Builder Domain Pools & Landscapes.
Suitable for interior walls, exterior walls, freestanding walls and building facades, VGM greenwall modules are assembled from lightweight, high strength structural panels with the front panel featuring a unique grid to support up to 16 plants.
VGM greenwall modules are ideal for commercial wall cladding projects, providing acoustic and thermal insulation as well as aesthetic interest.
