Aluminium platforms from Elevated Safety Systems have been installed at water filtration plants in Castlemaine and Kyneton. The platforms provide safe access to the filter tubes for maintenance.
Overhead platforms were also installed for upper level maintenance along with handrail around the overhead area.
The platforms in between each bank of filters allow maintenance to be carried out easily, as operators are at a suitable height. These are accessed from a portable stair which has wheels to move it to other sections.
The end platforms are accessed from a platform with step ladder and a ladder from the end platforms allows access to overhead sections. All construction is using lightweight aluminium which is easily put together on site.
