The Corkcomfort cork flooring range by Wicanders is new to Australasia and will be officially launched at designEX 2011. The Corkcomfort range has been developed by a team of trend forecasters comprised of designers, architects and marketers and is inspired by the nature’s patterns, textures and colours.

This pre-finished floating floor is available in either tile or plank formats and features a quick and easy locking system that requires no glue or nails for installation.

A natural thermal insulator, cork creates quiet, stylish, comfortable environments as well as potential energy savings. Additionally, the cork flooring range is environmentally responsible and is produced using cork from sustainable forests.

Cork is extracted cylindrically from cork oak trees, which does not damage the tree, making it a natural and renewable resource. Corkcomfort cork flooring is fully recyclable and free of substances such as phenol, formaldehyde and isocyanates.

Corkcomfort brings to life ceramic, stone, metal and leather patterns while the innovative range of colours and use of finger blocked and mosaic effects revitalises the use of cork in interior design. There is also a palette of remarkable surfaces and a diverse range of contemporary finishes and textures for floors available to choose from.

Ecologic markets and provides specification support for a range of sustainable brands, including Wicanders Corkcomfort flooring. Ecologic will be displaying at designEX, stand number 332.
