Winners of the 2014 Dulux Accredited Awards were announced recently with several professional painters and up-and-coming painting apprentices named in the honours list.

Painters from the Dulux Accredited Painters Program continue to be excellent representatives of their industry and the Dulux Accredited brand by setting industry benchmarks with their superior workmanship and personalised services.

The judging panel comprising of three senior managers from Dulux Australia chose three Painter of the Year winners for small (one to three painters), medium (four to nine painters) and large (10 – 19 painters) businesses.

P & T Barras Painting of South Lake, WA was named Dulux Accredited Painter of the Year (Small); Wilko Painting of Mitchelton, QLD was named Dulux Accredited Painter of the Year (Medium); and Van Diddens Painting Australia of Fremantle, WA was named Dulux Accredited Painter of the Year (Large).

Classic Contractors of Willeton, WA won the title of Dulux Accredited Business Professional of the Year, an award that recognises a business with a team of 20 or more painters. Commendation and Runner Up Awards were also given across the two categories.

Recognising the up-and-coming talent in the industry, the Dulux Accredited Apprentice of the Year award went to Stewart Jones (WQM Painting & Renovations) of Oxley, ACT.

Dulux Accredited Program Manager, Colleen Jeffery-Court said the 2014 awards program marked the twelfth year of celebrating successful businesses and the next generation of professional painters.

Congratulating all the winners, runners-up and commendations for the 2014 Dulux Accredited Painter Awards, Jeffery-Court said that the judging panel was extremely impressed with the quality of entrants.

All winners were announced at the recent Dulux Accredited annual conference on the Gold Coast.
