Entry to the 2014 Dulux Colour Awards will close on 6 February.

With less than a month remaining for architects, designers, specifiers and students to showcase their innovative and inspiring use of colour, Dulux Colour & Communications Manager, Andrea Lucena-Orr expects to see a spike in entries in the next few weeks.

This year’s Dulux Colour Awards adds a new dynamic for entrants with the introduction of two new categories – Commercial Refurbishment and Residential Refurbishment. These join the existing categories of Commercial Interior, Commercial Exterior, Single Residential Interior, Multi Residential Interior, Single Residential Exterior, Multi Residential Exterior and Student.

Representing an impressive collective knowledge and experience in colour and design, this year’s judging line-up includes Callum Fraser, architect and director of award-winning architecture firm, Elenberg Fraser; Geoffrey Carran, contemporary artist; Daimon Downey, musician, creative and entrepreneur; Daniel Dalla Riva, designer and director of award-winning studio, 6 Hats and multidisciplinary design practice, UNO; and Claire Sullivan, publisher and editor-in-chief of New Zealand publications, Denizen & Design Folio.

Finalists of the 2014 Dulux Colour Awards will be announced on 27 February and winners will be announced at a gala function in Melbourne on 27 March.
