Doric Products is upgrading their car fleet across all of their Australian sales branches as part of an intensive drive towards more sustainable operations.

Over the next 12 months, Doric plans to replace their fleet of large diesel powered utility vehicles with more efficient and eco-friendly Toyota Camry Hybrids. By upgrading their 25 diesel vehicles to the hybrid models, the company aims to substantially reduce their annual carbon emissions.

Hybrid vehicles are gaining in popularity and acceptance due to their excellent fuel efficiency and performance. Hybrid technology combines a conventional petrol engine with an electric motor and battery pack to create a more sustainable energy source. Hybrid cars are cleaner thanks to low CO2 emissions, and require less fossil fuel to run, while continuing to provide the powerful performance of conventional engines.

Committed to sustainability, Doric is taking the next step in leading the way for their staff members and customers alike by investing in cleaner, greener vehicles. The company hopes to set an example for their employees to encourage them to become more environmentally conscious and reduce their impact on the environment.

Part of the Alchin Long Group, the family owned Doric is determined to create a sustainable culture for future generations of innovators across their group of businesses.
