The DigiGlass  product range includes the DuPont SentryGlas Expressions and is used as a paving surface in many places. Recently completed by DigiGlass, a paving artwork project at the City of Stirling Civic Building Complex in Perth incorporating DuPont SentryGlas Expressions has been met with an enthusiastic public response.

Council archives provided a wealth of singular images for the project, which were then digitally manipulated, colours exaggerated and finally laminated in SentryGlas Expressions glass to provide a series of 300mm wide film strip narratives. The strips, sealed and separated by concrete narrate something of the city’s history to its constituents.

29mm thick hardened glass was used for the strips with a 10mm ceramic frit laminated onto the surface of the panels. This frit allowed the project to meet Australian Standards 'R 10' anti-slip rating. This ceramic frit along with the use of heightened colour gave the SentryGlas Expressions panels a three dimensional feel and worked well with the half toned concrete panels.
