Wooden floor heating systems from Devex Systems are suitable for installation under wooden floors as long as the guidelines are observed and a check is made to ensure suitability with the timber manufacturer or supplier.
Thermostats with a floor sensor are required for wooden floor heating systems to ensure that the temperature in the floor construction always corresponds to the tolerance level recommended by the manufacturer of the floor surface.
There are two wooden floor heating systems available from Devex Systems: deviflex DTIE-10, which has a maximum output of 110W/m2, and devimat DTIF-100 (110W/m²).
Devicell insulation panels are recommended for use with manufactured floating timber floors. The polystyrene insulation within the panels ensures that the heat loss downwards is minimised and its aluminium surface provides a uniform distribution of heat transfer to the timber floor.
