A new luxurious natural stone bathtub from Sareen Stone has been inspired by the balance of Yin and Yang and will be on show at designEX .

designEX 2010 design exhibition will take place between 22 and 24 April at Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Named Embrace, the freestanding bespoke bathtub will be displayed at designEX design exhibition for the first time. The bathtub was designed by landscape architect Julian Brady and each unit is hand-carved from a single large block of beautiful quality stone.

The tub can be used as a stand-alone feature or as a striking twin set that ‘embraces’ each other for the ultimate shared bathing experience. The Embrace tub provides incomparable comfort, with its ergonomic sensuous curves and relaxed natural stone simplicity.

Suitable for bathrooms in homes, hotels, day spas and resorts, ‘Embrace’ can also be situated externally for alfresco bathing under the stars. Available in two natural stone choices for light or dark colour schemes: deep charcoal volcanic stone or classic travertine.

Sareen Stone will also introduce two new high quality marble finishes at the design exhibition. Pietra Grey sandblasted marble offers the durability and density of marble with anti-slip qualities – both which are ideal elements for outdoors. For interiors, Pietra Grey honed marble features deep charcoal hues with stunning white veining.
