The Tunisian range of mosaic tiles from Aeria Country Floors will be launched at designEX 2010 exhibition, held at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre from 22nd to 24th April.
The mosaic tiles feature six different patterns and are all handcrafted from beautiful coloured stones and marbles collected throughout Tunisia. Collected in small broken pieces, the stones are cut into slices and then into the required shapes, and then placed onto each pattern by local artisans.
The result is a discerning range of authentic stone mosaic tiles for decorative walls and floors, that will embellish any space and wear naturally over time.
The Tunisian range of mosaic tiles is suited to commercial and residential indoor areas, and can look striking in large spaces such as entry foyers, kitchens, bathrooms and protected patio floors. All mosaic tile designs are handmade and unglazed, with a desirable soft matte finish. Sealing is of the tiles is recommended.
The dimensions of each mosaic sheet range from 250mm x 250mm up to 270mm x 360mm, with a thickness of 5mm.
