DECO announces the addition of two new designs to the DecoClad aluminium cladding range.
Developed by top industrial designers, DecoClad’s new cladding profiles, Croatia Board and Weatherboard offer more variety and greater design choice for all levels of the design industry.
Introduce a little bit of Balkans into your façade or feature wall with this one-of-a-kind cladding design. New to the Australian market, the new angular, Croatian-inspired Croatia Board is a sharper take on a traditional ship-lap cladding design. The look is distinctive with a 130mm wide board featuring an 8.5mm recess to create a tight jagged appearance.
The Weatherboard has a more traditional appearance and reflects the charm of an Australian beachside cottage. The 180mm wide board is perfect for heritage restorations or in contemporary building architecture and offers a classic design that will never go out of style.
Key features of the two cladding profiles include DecoClad’s patented interlocking system with pre-punched fixing holes and long 6.5m length boards for fast and easy installation; a range of accessories to achieve a seamless, concealed fixing; flexibility to use vertically or horizontally; solid aluminium construction; and choice of DecoWood’s Super Durable powder-coated natural woodgrain finishes or standard powdercoat colours.
DecoClad’s new cladding profiles Croatia Board and Weatherboard are suitable for a range of residential and commercial applications including external walls and façades, ceilings, gable ends and soffits. Similar to DecoClad’s other profiles – Shadowline, Narrowline and V-Groove – the new profiles with their solid aluminium construction and no composite core are deemed non-combustible in accordance with Australia’s National Construction Code. DecoClad has also been tested and certified to AS 1530.1 and AS 1530.3.
