Made from a polymeric material, these rubber tactile pads can simply be cut to the desired shape with a knife and installed on a range of substrates including concrete, bitumen, timber, pavers, and most other substrates.
These retrofit rubber tactile indicators are supplied in tiles that measure 600mm x 900mm and 300mm x 600mm and can be easily installed by applying adhesive and sticking them down.
CTA also offer a 2 hour installation service for busy areas using MoreBond adhesive and is an approved supply and installer for V-Line using this technique.
PolyPad rubber tactile indicator pads are available in 4 Standard Range colours; White, Black, Yellow, and Grey, as well as 5 Designer Range colours; Sky Blue, Sunset Orange, Storm Grey, Ocean Blue, and Terracotta.
This colour range ensures the ground surface indicator tiles can be provided with Australian Standards’ requisite 30% luminance contrast as well providing designers and specifiers with a greater colour palette for their projects.
