    CSR Gyprock releases new premixed lightweight jointing compound for plasterboard

    CSR Gyprock announces the launch of a new pre-mixed, lightweight drying compound designed to deliver premium all-purpose performance for the Australian plasterboard market.

    The new Ultra-AP is the latest in CSR Gyprock’s range of advanced jointing compounds for plasterboard, featuring an ultra-smart formula to deliver both lightness and strength. Ultra-AP performs well across all three coats in the jointing system with its unique composition making it Gyprock’s strongest all-purpose compound.

    Designed to provide great versatility and performance, Ultra-AP joins Ultra-Top in the Gyprock Ultra family as a premium accessory to plastering.

    Ultra-AP can be used safely for first and second coats, with its light and creamy consistency ideal for achieving a firm, smooth and professional finish in the final coat.

    The plasterboard jointing compound is ideal for application of internal angles and offers excellent tape adhesion and low shrinkage, providing the convenience of a lightweight, pre-mixed product as well as the assurance of a clean finish.
