The Timberform cavity system is the base for the entire network of cavity sliding systems available from CS Cavity Sliders .

Incorporating high quality one-piece aluminium extrusions and timber jambs, the Timberform system is made to measure for door sizes up to and including 2700mm high x 3500mm wide, thus allowing for freedom of design from servery units to operable walls or ensuite doors.

The standard Timberform, made for single doors, is designed to fit into 90mm framework with either 10mm or 13mm wall linings on either side. The maximum door weight the Timberform system can support is 120kg when using two standard carriages.

If the door panel happens to weigh more than 120kg, heavy-duty carriages or extra carriages can be used (Quantities and type of carriages are normally calculated by CS Cavity Sliders).

The timber head jambs on the Timberform unit are removable to facilitate easy installation and removal of the door panel. The design of the head jambs eliminates the need for unsightly pelmets.

All timber jambs on the Timberform are designed to finish flush with the face of the wall linings to accommodate architraves or square set details, but as trends change the Timberform unit is available with special profile jambs.

The Timberform cavity system is designed to allow for the door to finish flush with split jambs when in the open position gaining the maximum opening available and hiding the door panel from view.

There are many configurations of cavity sliding systems within the CS Cavity Sliders range that can include the Timberform option for the jambs e.g. Bi-Parting, Multiple overtaking, Easi-open, etc.
