Cibo has launched the Caldo bathroom ensemble comprising shaving cabinet, basin, vanity and laundry box.

Sleek proportions are finished in white starphire glass and white polyurethane, giving the ensemble an almost illuminated effect.

Acting on feedback from customers, Cibo says it has incorporated some very useful elements into the Caldo design.

The shaving cabinet not only has a mirror on the outside, there’s also one on the interior, as well as a glass shelf – providing easy access to products and a mirror while the door is open.

The basin was specially selected from the Marblo range and its contemporary matt finish enhances the overall look and feel – resulting in a harmonious unit, rather than the basin competing with the furniture, Cibo says. Cibo recommends the use of a stand alone mixer tap with this design.

The single drawer provides a surprising amount of bathroom storage and it glides effortlessly shut thanks to the Cibo Inertia Drawer System. The system’s interchangeable dividers ensure personal grooming items are well cared for and always readily to hand – allowing for up to five compartments that easily accommodate brushes, cosmetics, toiletries and electrical equipment.

Another interesting addition is the Laundry Box (which is on castors, doubling as a handy seat) which demonstrates how each element of the bathroom can contribute to the overall design feel. A Caldo linen cabinet is also available.

Angled finger grips on each piece enable easy opening and complement the minimalist lines. As with all Cibo furniture, soft-closing mechanisms have been applied to the shaving cabinet door and laundry box top.

The Caldo is available exclusively at Domayne (Alexandria and Auburn), Sydney.
