The Designer Series from Cemintel™ was selected by the Victoria-based Orbit Homes Group for a new house in the suburb of Waterford, Queensland. The builder sought a pre-finished lightweight cladding system to apply to the exterior of the new house while also giving it a modern and distinctive look.

Orbit Homes Product Development Manager, Ian Pumpa said that the exterior walling solution was applied to about three quarters of the façade because the house was located on a corner block, and the facade made for an excellent feature.
Ian added that the clip fixing and pre-formed corner pieces were key differentiators while installing the Cemintel Designer Series as opposed to traditional board cladding systems. He explained that each panel had a matching preformed corner to provide a consistent finish, and create a superior look to traditional lightweight cladding systems.
Cemintel Designer Series
Cemintel Designer Series consists of five different styles of textured panels in a range of colours: the ultramodern i-Cube, Textured, Slimline, Woodgrain and Smooth. The wide range enables designers and builders to easily create unique building designs. Textured offers a choice of three different coloured panels: Alpine, Ebony and Sandstone.
The Cemintel Designer Series wall panels can also be used as a viable option to traditional construction materials such as brick, or to complement existing finishes.
