The CEDIA Electronic Lifestyles Awards Night is the highlight of the annual CEDIA Asia Pacific Expo, bringing the residential custom installation industry together to recognise and reward high quality and professional integration projects across the region.
Held at the exclusive Doltone House venue in Sydney recently with over 300 guests from across the globe in attendance, the Awards ceremony celebrated outstanding home technology projects and CEDIA member companies.
Delighted winners from about 70 entrants in various award categories included CEDIA member companies from Australia, New Zealand and China.
Sponsors of the CEDIA Electronic Lifestyles Awards Night included Australian Smart Home Ideas, Amber Technology and AMX Australia. The overall CEDIA Awards scheme was sponsored by Australia Smart Home Ideas, and included category sponsors Connected Home Australia and Stunning Smart Homes.
Judging for the Awards was carried out by international industry experts including CEDIA US Chief Executive Officer, Utz Baldwin, joined by Robert Hallam, Chairman for CEDIA EMEA and Ken Erdmann, CEDIA US Past Chairman.
Stephen Miller, CEDIA Asia Pacific’s Executive Director comments that the Awards have again showcased some amazing projects from right across the Asia Pacific Region. Additionally, the Awards program creates an excellent networking opportunity for participants of the Expo.
CEDIA (the Custom Electronic Design and Installation Association) is an international trade association of companies specialising in the planning and installation of electronic systems for the home.
These systems include home networking systems, home automation and communication systems, media rooms, single or multi-room entertainment systems as well as integrated whole-house sub-systems providing audio, video, lighting control, security, HVAC and other services.
