Two innovative companies, DuPont Corian and Dyson are collaborating on a series of products that meet functional, aesthetic and hygiene objectives in commercial bathrooms.

The first in the series is the Corian all-in-one washplane integrated with the Dyson Airblade Tap hand dryer, placing both washing and drying in one streamlined position. This integrated design prevents bathroom users from dripping water across the floor when moving from the washplane to the paper towel dispenser or hand dryer.

By enabling users to wash and dry their hands in one place, the new washplane design reduces the crossover traffic in high-use public bathrooms, resulting in a cleaner, drier and safer floor, as well as eliminating the need for wasteful paper towels.

Each washplane is manufactured from solid Corian and can be seamlessly integrated into complementary Corian bathroom surfaces, creating high traffic public facilities that are beautifully designed, strong, hygienic and easier to maintain.

Corian washplanes integrated with the Dyson Airblade Tap hand dryers also improve hygiene standards. The Airblade Tap takes 12 seconds to dry a pair of hands with no taps to turn or buttons to touch. Intelligent infrared sensors emit light to pinpoint hand positions and sophisticated circuitry initiates the appropriate response of water or air immediately, reducing time and energy used in the bathroom.

Corian washplanes with Dyson Airblade Tap hand dryers are available in three designs and can be configured for use by up to five people simultaneously.

DuPont Corian products are available in Australia through CASF Australia.
