CASE Construction  has appointed Conplant as its new dealer for New South Wales. Conplant will take over from St Marys based dealer CASE Equipment Sales (SEMCO) on November 1 2007, with all parties working to transition the business in the meantime.

”We’re delighted to welcome Conplant to be part of our dealer network,” said Mick Smith, CASE Brand Manager.

“They are well placed to represent the CASE brand, having honed their experience in the demanding service environment of the rental industry. They’ve also recently branched into sales of compaction equipment, so the retail environment is familiar to them.”

The new partnership will enable CASE to make further gains in the rental market. “Rental is one of the fastest growing segments in the construction industry and together with Conplant we’ll offer a whole new set of customers the opportunity to experience the CASE product,” Mick explained.

“Some of our dealers are looking to further integrate rental into their offering, so it’s important to work with companies like Conplant that have a high degree of experience in this field.”

Conplant has been in operation since 1961 and is an Australian owned family business. Conplant’s Managing Director, Ian Coleman, said, “We extensively assessed the CASE dealership opportunity, and considering the brand’s comprehensive range of high quality products, our final decision was an easy one.”

“New South Wales Government expenditure on infrastructure over the next couple of years will be second only to Queensland, so diversifying our product range to include CASE is a strong strategic move that will assist us to achieve our growth objectives,” explained Ian.

“Rental remains a significant component of our business and the entrenched service culture that has enabled us to be successful in this area, will now support CASE customers.”

Conplant will establish CASE branches in existing and new locations including Sydney, Hunter Valley, Coffs Harbour and Queanbeyan. Conplant’s New South Wales territory excludes the Wagga / Albury district which is managed by CASE dealer, Hartwigs.
