The Building Designers Association of Victoria (BDAV) invites the Victorian public to vote for their favourite project nominated in the 19th BDAV Building Design Awards.

The 2014 BDAV Building Design Awards recognise building design projects across a wide range of categories, including residential design, interior design, energy efficiency and environmental sustainability, heritage conservation, and non-residential design including commercial, industrial, hospitality and public buildings.

BDAV President Michael O’Sullivan invited people to view the work of some of Victoria’s most talented building designers and share their passion for innovative design. Mr O’Sullivan says the People’s Choice Award gives Victorians the chance to vote for the project, which they believe shows an extraordinary level of creativity and expertise.

Voting for the People’s Choice Award is now open at www.bdav.org.au and closes 10am Monday 14 July 2014. The award will be presented at the BDAV Annual Dinner on Saturday 26 July 2014.

The BDAV Building Design Awards profiles excellence in building design and promotes the importance of the building design profession to both the building industry and the wider community.

The 2014 BDAV Building Design Awards are proudly sponsored by BlueScope Steel, Architectural Window Systems, James Hardie Australia, Kingspan Insulation, WoodSolutions, bankmecu, CSR Building Products, CSR Bradford Insulation and Rylock, and are also supported by the Australian Window Association and Universal Magazines.
