Britex supplied a range of vandal resistant stainless steel sanitary fixtures to the South Pine Sporting Complex in Brendale, Queensland. These sanitary fixtures are typically specified for public amenities, parks and recreation facilities, and council applications.

Designed by AECOM and built by Main Construction, the $10-million sporting complex is located in Brendale, which is part of the Moreton Bay Region and only 30 minutes from the heart of Brisbane. Situated on 28ha of lush green sports fields, the complex offers both indoor and outdoor facilities and is currently home to 14 sporting clubs as well as one commercial beach volleyball centre.

Britex fixtures supplied for the South Pine Sporting Complex project include:

Britex stainless steel vandal resistant Regency slab urinals featuring additional flushing side walls that return all the way to the front of the urinal, protecting the side walls that may otherwise be exposed to water/ fluid damage after being installed for an extended period of time (UREG). These urinals were supplied in an ‘L’ configuration to fit the requirements of the space.

Multiple Britex stainless steel pre-plumbed handwashing PWD troughs, complete with radiused inner and outer corners for safety and ease of cleaning (TPWDPH). These were plumbed with Britex’s vandal resistant wall mounted tap sets supplying hot and cold water (TW-SET-01).
