These terracotta roof tiles are made by Ceramica La Escandella, a prominent European roofing tile manufacturer, and sold throughout the world. Bristile Roofing is proud to be the exclusive Australian distributor for these distinctive products.
La Escandella collection of terracotta roof tiles are distinguished by five profiles and a range of finishes, glazes and colours:
Curvado: A traditional Mediterranean-style roof tile that gives a top and pan finish, prominent on many European architectural marvels. They are available in aged or glazed finishes.
Grande: First introduced into Australia in the late 19th century, these roof tiles are renowned for their classical appearance and excellent weather-sealing.
Medio Curva: A unique ‘half round’ profile with every alternate tile inverted, a typically Spanish rustic roofing style.
Planum: A popular contemporary flat tile with a finish that is sleek and smooth.
Visum3: A true innovation, one visum3 tile gives the appearance of three smaller slate roof tiles, minimising the cost and lengthy installation times normally associated with achieving a slate tile aesthetic.
