Leading Australian LED lighting designers Brightgreen are in the running to win their third New Product Award in a row at DesignEx 2012.

Brightgreen plans to release yet another revolutionary product at the DesignEx this year that is set to deliver them a hat-trick of awards. The company has been winning the award for Best New Product at the DesignEx for the last two years.

Brightgreen received their first DesignEx award for the D900 Curve LED downlight in 2010. The highly energy-efficient D900 LED downlights provide over 900 lumens of light while using just 16 watts of power. Matching the brightness and light quality of halogens, these LED downlights last 15 times longer.

The 2011 DesignEx saw the release of the D900 Cube, which evolved from the D900 Curve and won Brightgreen the best new product award again. Featuring all the qualities of the Curve, the D900 Cube’s square beam distributes light more evenly in a room, resulting in the need for less light.

CEO and head designer David O’Driscoll is keeping Brightgreen’s new product under wraps, only letting on that it is another innovative and revolutionary lighting solution.

DesignEx will be held at the Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centre from 14th to 16th of May. Brightgreen will be displaying their product range at Stand 600.
