Tempus Design Studio was contracted to execute the renovation of a beautiful pole home in Mackay, North Queensland.
The pole home renovation included the addition of a new front entry, updated main bathroom and a two-storey separate garage with media room above. The original structure is connected to the new via the original deck.
Building designer Tamica Lewis specified Breezway Altair louvre windows for the pole home as they open wide to capture the tropical breezes and cool the indoor environment, reducing the need for air conditioning.
