Altair louvre windows from Breezway have been installed along with several skylights at a new extension to a pre-war house in Brisbane, Queensland.

Built as a contemporary extension to the rear of the pre-war house, Gerler explores multiple volumes and utilises a range of skylights and Altair louvre windows by Breezway to create an unexpected and uplifting family home.

Designed by Shaun Lockyer Architects, the home features Altair louvre windows in a variety of locations. Louvre windows installed high up have a ring pull handle for the owners to use a map rod to open and close them freely as they wish. The Altair louvres installed in the kitchen and bathroom help keep these areas fresh and ventilated at all times.
