Breezway Altair louvre windows were specified by the architect Clinton Cole for a project involving the transformation of an old brick bungalow into a sustainable modern home for a young family.

The residence in Castlecrag, Sydney was a cellular and inward-looking mid-20th century brick bungalow. During the transformation spearheaded by CplusC Architectural Workshop, private bedroom spaces were planned for the first floor and living and social spaces on the ground floor.

The kitchen has become the pivotal room in the Castlecrag residence, connecting indoor living spaces and extending out to a double-volume outdoor living space that leads down to the garden.

Breezway Altair louvre windows featuring high level glazing allow northern light into the heart of the home, and through the double height stair hall to the entry.
