Altair louvre windows from Breezway were installed in a period home addition project in Dulwich Hill, Sydney.

Designed by architect Clinton Cole of CplusC Architectural Workshop, the project at the Dulwich Hill residence involved the addition of an open kitchen, outdoor living space, dining, bathroom and laundry to an existing semi-detached period home to fit the needs of a young family with four children.

Design highlights of the home addition include the bathroom and laundry accentuated as a feature in the rear of the home; large sliding doors disappearing seamlessly into the egg-shaped bathroom and laundry pod to allow the internal living space to extend outdoors; and concealed retractable flyscreens completely screening the kitchen and dining space on opening the glazed sliding doors.

Altair louvre windows were incorporated into the new home extension to assist with ventilation and help keep the area free from mould or moisture build-up.
