Bosch Blue Power Tools has introduced a new range of premium lithium-ion
(Li-Ion) batteries that will enable professional tradesmen to maximise the use
of their tools.
Bosch Blue's new 18V 5.0Ah Premium delivers excellent battery power and
runtime capabilities, and is the smallest and lightest 5.0Ah battery for 18
volt power tools on the market, measuring the same size as Bosch Blue 3.0Ah and
4.0Ah Li-Ion batteries and weighing just 620 grams.
The German engineered 18V 5.0Ah Premium Li-Ion battery from Bosch Blue
features Bosch's innovative CoolPack technology, consisting of a special heat
conductive housing and ribbing that draws heat away from the inside of the
battery, resulting in up to 100% longer lifetime than batteries without
CoolPack technology.
Key features of Bosch Blue's new 18V 5.0Ah Premium Li-Ion batteries
include Bosch's advanced Electronic Cell Protection (ECP) technology protecting
against overloading, overheating and deep discharge, and ensuring performance
to its optimum capacity; Bosch's Flexible Power System assuring compatibility with
all existing 18 volt power tools; 25 percent longer runtime than existing 4.0Ah
batteries; and charge level indicator.
The new Li-Ion batteries deliver significant cost savings and
consistency to all professional tradesmen using Bosch Blue power tools.
