The suburb of Guildford in Sydney’s west has a new touch of ‘glam’ with a recently completed residential complex. The complex has added some real pizzazz to the neighbourhood with its creative colour schemes and clever use of coloured bricks from Boral Bricks.

Builder Patrick Sayhoun says the complex of units should be a good investment for owner Jaymay Developments as they will be rented out to tenants wanting quality, yet affordable, centrally-located accommodation. The residential complex comprises 21 residential units and commercial areas and it situated half way between Parramatta and Liverpool.

Patrick says the units were designed with comfortable and colourful living in mind. “We used Boral bricks to create a strong visual impact,” he says. “Most of the buildings in Woodville Road use just one style of brick and rendered areas. We wanted to spice things up a bit so we used an eclectic mix of brick colours and surfaces. Over 200,000 Boral bricks in different combinations were utilised which were carefully coordinated with interior and exterior colour schemes.”

Patrick’s relationship with Boral goes back over 15 years, and he explained, “We are extremely happy with Boral’s products and customer service. We get lots of ideas from their brochures, samples and from their reps, who are always helpful and imaginative. For this project, colour was the key, and the Boral colour schemes helped us to create the effect we wanted.”
