BlueScope Steel announces the COLORBOND Steel GEN-U-WIN promotion for
customers, suppliers and installers of genuine COLORBOND steel products.
BlueScope’s latest marketing initiative aims to create awareness of the proven
benefits of genuine COLORBOND steel with the attractive prizes also drawing
more customers and helping supplier and installers build up their business.
How to GEN-U-WIN
When a homeowner customer purchases any genuine COLORBOND steel product
valued at $1,500 or more (excluding installation), they are eligible to enter
the promotion and also nominate their supplier or installer. If the eligible homeowner
customer wins the top prize of $150,000, the nominated supplier or installer could
win a cash prize of $100,000 as long as they are eligible and have registered. Fortnightly
cash prizes of $2,000 for customers can also win their nominated supplier or
installer a cash prize of $2,000. To claim any prize, the supplier or installer
must have registered at COLORBOND.COM/GENUWIN prior to the draw.
The promotion starts on 1 October 2014 with the first of the 15
fortnightly draws to take place on Wednesday, 15 October 2014. The promotion
closes on 1 May 2015 with the major prize draw on Friday, 8 May 2015.
Trade registrations open on 1 September 2014. Homeowner purchases from 1
January 2014 until 1 May 2015 are eligible for entry.
The GEN-U-WIN promotion will be supported nationally through television,
print and online advertising as well as POS material, to target homeowners who
are actively searching for new home designs or home improvement ideas.
