BildaVoid Concrete Voidforming Systems  have released the SupaVOID Concrete Voidforming Systems, a new addition to their existing range. The SupaVOID looks set to overcome the problems associated with premature collapse caused by excessive moisture.

“SupaVOID is our premium product,” said Christine Mancer of BildaVoid Concrete Voidforming Systems. “The difference is in the outer layer of fibre board. We have incorporated a polymer lining which offers excellent water resistance,” she said.

“One of the problems we have been faced with over the years is the premature collapse of the void form due to excessive moisture either in the soil or due to rain. If this occurs, the void form needs to be replaced, and this can result in significant delays in construction,” Christine Mancer added. “The combination of design and materials enables SupaVOID to overcome these issues.”

Together with the addition of the polymer lining for improved moisture resistance, SupaVOID’s patented internal component of twin cushion partition sections, not only provide a higher load bearing capacity, they also lock together tightly, ensuring that the panels stay together even when they are cut on site. In addition, the outer box is hot glued to provide additional strength and durability.

As with BildaVoid Concrete Voidforming Systems’ other Cellular panels, the SupaVOID panels can be also be supplied unassembled. This is particularly useful when transporting large quantities of panels of significant distances.

The SupaVOID range is available in BildaVoid Concrete Voidforming Systems’ standard panel size of 1100 X 1100mm, as well as in 100 X 300mm panel for use in beams and trenches. Both sizes come in thicknesses of 50mm, 75mm 100mm and 150mm and can be stacked to create greater depths.

BildaVoid Concrete Voidforming Systems can also manufacture custom-made void forms to suit any application. BildaVoid Concrete Voidforming Systems have manufacturing facilities in Queensland, New South Wales and South Australia, ensuring quick supply throughout Australia.

“We believe that the new SupaVOID range offers the ideal combination of strength, durability and versatility, in a product which is both easy-to-use and environmentally friendly,” Christine Mancer added.

Together with their range of environmentally-friendly, sacrificial self-collapsing void forms, BildaVoid Concrete Voidforming Systems also supply polystyrene cut to measure and standard waffle pods to suit projects of all sizes.
